Why are there so many bad ppl in this game?
Ok, I just tried to do Ice Caves with some random group and of course, everyone sucks it up. At the start 3 ppl drop in the middle of the mission; a warrior with no way to heal himself/dodge attacks/or any way to keep him going. An over obsessively aggroing ranger who died every 10 seconds, and a useless overrated mm with a nerfed build. Despite those noobs leaving, we get to the point of the mission where we stay back and let the mursaat clear out the map. Easy right, no! "Oh I have to take a closer look at the mursaat killing things, oooooh..." Yeah, then 3 out of the 5 aggro them and get snuffed, killing Evennia. Game over. Why? That part was so easy and they still messed it up.
I've played this game since april 05, doesn't mean I can sit here and talk sh*t about nubs of this game...well maybe it does. A number of possibilities contribute to all the nu bad players of this game. I took a break from geedub for maybe 4 months, came back, and all of a sudden everyone is getting ran to far away places on the map. Maybe I didn't notice it before but thats what it seems. Wow, every chump with gold can bypass the game. And it seems they aren't getting enough practice on the game. Every build out there is on this forum, so why are people so bad. "Everyone who has beat the game before gets their new characters ran so they can progress faster to harder parts" Bull-f*cking-sh*t. No leroy jenkins, thats not what it means, it means you are like everyone else that probably got their first characters dragged through the storyline and barely made it far.
Also, has anyone out there heard of a term called rest? You know, when you chill for a few seconds after killing a group so the party can heal up/regain energy. Obviously not. flklfjsj'kjd' Just because you are a W/Mo, doesnt mean you are invincible and can take on everything. More than likely, these are the homof*gs who f*ck up the mission in the first place. Calm yourself down Paladin of Fellatio, you'll get to kill more guys in just a minute...
I could go on and on about trendy BP farm groups and overrated green items but damn. Now the only way I can progress through the game without the frustration is to have my friends help or get "guildies(f+ggot term)" to tag along. Hopefully factions will divide up the number of noobs so it wont be as intensely packed full of them. Im kind of losing my steam since its freakin late and im waiting for the preview event so ill just end it like this. I know not everyone can be sucka free, and there will always be retards that will just suck it up and have no other choice. But please, know your role in the party and try out different builds for yourself. You don't have to go along with every trend in the game. It evolved around skills not level. Go crazy and experiment. And The level cap will not be raised because then everything would be unbalanced, get the hell over it. f*ckf*ckf*ck. So basically this goes out to people who are sick of the toys/scrubs/nubs of the game. /Kill. /Uninstall. /alt-f4. /deltree, kkthx. By the way im not just any SS lfg, I am an "exp" SS lfg, omfgahhhhhhhhhhfdasjfflsjafjskfjk'sjf die die die.

I can feel your pain ^^;; But I tend to look at my bad expriences with PUG as funny (idiotic?) moments of human behavior.
Whenever I am a PUG, I will pay attention to the party's build and how the people type...... I will leave the group before they enter mission/quests if I think the party will be rushy (like 2 alpha warriors spamming GO in the party chat).
Just this week, I did Iron Mines' bonus 3 times. First 2 failed because there weren't any team work at all (they rush and rush and ignores casters' calls for rest).
Then I did it again today with a very nice PUG. We finished the bonus within 20mins.

A happy person for every sad one
Its human nature and... I call it "the balance"

Well, your wording is a bit harsh, I agree with the point that all those running was not exactly helpful for people to become good players.
There might be good and legit reasons for a toon to get run through the game (maybe if you delete your level 20 ele and make a new one because you didn't like the old appearance anymore or so). Not too many good reasons, though. Some people complete the game with let's say a ranger, and start an ele then. Then they have the ele getting run through the entire game, including the ascension missions. Those players end up in Thunderhead Keep and have still no clue about being an ele.
It's of course a personal choice of those people to have their chars run through the game, they just have to acknowledge that they might end up being sub par players for those classes that way (not in all cases, but in many).

Dude, not meaning to offend you but please stop your whining. Every game has bad players, and some may say the exact same about you.

Most people in this game do suck and Im not talking about them being nOObs (people make mistakes.. that dont make them bad even if they dont listen). Im talking about people who will scam you and try to take what is yours, who will try to trick you during trade, who will blame you for their mistakes when things go wrong and not know the difference, Who will flame you because you have FoW (something they say they dont want.... but do), Will have prejudices against your class and demand you play their way (It annoying having an elle trying to tell you how to play Warrior when they dont have a clue from the build they want you to use) and so many other things...I wont even start in PvP.
The only thing that makes this game worth it is the few gems of people you find along the way and your guild. You will learn patience and this game builds character if nothing else.

QFT.
Actually, I sometimes get in PUGs for the entertainment value - I am often amazed, both for good and bad, by what happens on missions.

People can be a pain. The only thing tht makes THK hard is the people who don't LISTEN and work together.
Today I got in a group for Hell's Precipice and we picked up a deadbeat freeloader. It was the consensus of the group that we weren't going to carry this loser through the mission, so we decided to suicide & kick him for someone else. One guy left the party as soon as we found out what was up. Sadly, when we went back to town, the party fell apart, so it was back to trying to find another one - which I had to give up on for the time being.
But it's been my experience that there's more good PUGs out there than bad ones. They just don't make as much of an impression on a person than the really bad ones. It's also been my experience that a good PUG will get things done faster than Henchies.
I'm not a big fan of people getting run through the missions - Level 20s offering to "help out" people with Great Northern Wall, Fort Ranik, etc. are doing more harm to players than helping. Even if you're on your 3rd or 4th character, it's probably only the 1st time you've played that primary profession and those earlier levels are made for honing your skills and learning what works and what doesn't. Yeah, you can get a skill set here or several other web forums, but there's only one way to learn how to USE the skill bar, by experience.

Take your distance and lough about it. When I'm on a mission, every now and than I call "Regenerate!" Nobody cares. They keep on pushing forward, and I'm so stupid to just follow and try to heal them as much as I can. I regenerate 5 energy, cast Orison or Dwayna's, regenrate 5 energy again and so on. I don't mind that, when my call to regenrate gets ignored, everybody still dies. It is completely my foult. I made them look invincible and now we all pay the price of a failed mission.
Get over it, and move on

I get friend's who i know to help me on mission's, its a lot better than teaming up with stangers.
And stop complaining If you are going to make a party for a mission like Thunderheadkeep make sure you cheak there armor and if they have skill's needed for that mission and if you got a jerk who say's ''Kick the henchie's or i leave'' Mostly a monk say's that just kick him out of the party i get that type of people at thunderheadkeep a lot who think they know how to do the mission and after i finish the mission with henchie's and return back to thunderheadkeep and see the same guy still there after a hour i feel prould lo

bleh, that kind of stuff never happens to me... Alesia, Lina, and I sit back and make sandwiches while Stefan and Thom are out chasing away undesirables, Claude seems to have a flatulence issue, and Orion can't stop talking about his girlfriend, meanwhile Reyna is out getting us some fresh sandwich meat.

Orion's getting too absent-minded for my taste recently. His firestorm-barb-quing skills are getting rusty...
